Bb is a Bumblebee. Bumblebees are large, fuzzy insects with short, stubby wings. They are larger than honeybees, but they don't produce as much honey. However, they are very important pollinators. Without them, food wouldn't grow.
Many bumblebees are listed as endangered, vulnerable or near threatened by the International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resource's Red List of Threatened Species.
Bumblebees are larger than honey bees and generate more heat. This allows them to work during cooler weather.
Bumblebees don't die when they sting. This is trait found in honey bees.
Bees are covered in an oil that makes them waterproof.
Queens shiver to warm up and keep eggs toasty.

Azzura is a Gooty Sapphire Ornamental Tree Spider. Tarantulas like Azzura are Critically Endangered.
Habitat loss and degradation are major threats to the Gooty Tarantula. Due to timber operations, firewooding, and pressures from other forest uses, the natural habitat of these spiders has been degraded. Mochi is a Kakapo Parrot. The critically endangered New Zeland's flightless bird, which is known as the “owl parrot” and is the heaviest parrot in the word, had a population of just 123 individuals as of 2014. Now, thanks to a major boost in chick numbers—33 babies have survived their first few months of life, compared to just six in 2014—that population number looks set to rise.

Goldie is a Golden Lion Tamarin Monkey.
Threats to Survival
These interesting animals are threatened, as are many of the forests in which they live. Brazil's Atlantic coastal rain forests are disappearing due to ever-expanding logging, agriculture, and industry, and unfortunately, the golden lion tamarin is in danger of vanishing with them.

Pipy is a Malayan Tapir. Malayan Tapirs have black and white sections like the Giant Panda. You'd think it would make them stand out, but tigers and other predators have a hard time finding them. Malayan Tapirs go out at night, so predators can only see the white parts of them. Predators can't see their shape. They look relaxed, but can run away very quickly if in trouble. If they see a predator, they quickly hide under water. Malayan Tapirs are skilled swimmers that live in forests where there is water. The forests are disappearing. Living in small numbers in small forests, it's hard to find food. They're also have trouble on finding mates. Their numbers are becoming smaller. Out of all tapirs, Malayan Tapirs are the closest to extinction.

Mellownie is a Pygmy Sloth.
Humans are cutting down the red mangrove trees in which the pygmy three toed sloth lives in. Because they live in such a small area, this makes it hard for the sloths to survive. Mangrove threes are home as well as food for the pygmy three toed sloth...
Poaching- Even though humans don't live on Isla Escudo de Veruas, there are still visitors or tourists such as fishermen, lobster divers and local people. The are known to hunt the Pygmy three toed sloth which decreases their population even more.

Silky is a Sifaka Lemur. Can be found only in the forests of Madagascar. These primates spend most of their time in the trees, but don't get around in the same way that other lemurs do. Sifakas remain upright, and they leap quickly from tree to tree by jumping with their powerful hind legs. In this way, they clear distances of over 30 feet. Diamond is a Black Leopard. also commonly known as the Black PantherThe jaguar is the largest cat indigenous to North, Central and South America. Black jaguars, about 6 percent of the entire jaguar population, are found in the densest part of the vegetation, where there is the least sunlight. the most common predator and biggest threat to all Panthers is people. Not only have these rare animalsbeen hunted by people throughout much of their natural range but they have also been subjected to drastic habitat loss particularly in the form of deforestation for both growing Human settlements and to make way for agriculture. Population numbers of large Cats are declining all around the world and when they are being pushed into smaller and smaller pockets of their native habitats, Panthers are becoming even rarer than they already were.

Lilly is a Cross River Gorilla. The Cross River Gorilla is a unique subspecies, that only lives in a relatively small area. With only a few hundred individuals remaining, it is in very real danger of becoming extinct unless it is properly cared for.
Cross River gorillas live in a region populated by many humans who have encroached upon the gorilla’s territory—clearing forests for timber and to create fields for agriculture and livestock. Poaching occurs in the forests as well, and the loss of even a few of these gorillas has a detrimental effect on such a small population.
Amy is a Borneo Pygmy Elephant.
Shrinking forests bring the elephants into more frequent contact with people, increasing human -elephant conflict in the region. New oil palm plantations in the area mean more human settlements.

These snakes can grow to be over 9 feet long. Their dark brown or black coloration with pale gold or white patterns distinguishes them from other boas. The Argentine boa constrictor is the only boa subspecies listed in Appendix I of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora as a critically endangered animal.
